Putting up another variation on Huckleberry Leonard’s roundhouse design. Even more transportable than the pallets version, this one is simply the collection of round poles and canvas. (We didn’t get as far as putting the canvas up…!)
Huckleberry has built roundhouses that used this basic concept, but then infilled the walls with cob and plastered them, built a proper roof and set the whole building on a good foundation.
I really like the simplicity and adaptability of this design, and how it can be entirely temporary or a permanent structure. I’m eager to make my own version!
